Chapter 1:
Introduction
1.1 Background of the Business
Entering the era of the industrial revolution 4.0
caused changes in information on the internet to
accelerate and was supported by increasingly
sophisticated technological developments,
People's lifestyles such as increasing family
activity at work results in reduced consumption of
food cooked at home. This can be an opportunity
for culinary businesses to benefit by connecting
all elements electronically.

For this reason, product innovation is also needed


to achieve customer satisfaction by creating
something unique. Currently donuts have many
flavors and shapes, more and more
manufacturers are selling snacks with various
flavors, making us interested in pursuing the
donut business that is currently viral, namely
Loukoumades Donuts (Greek Donuts). Donuts
are one of the foods that are liked by everyone.
Donuts are made from flour, sugar, yeast, milk
and butter and then fried. The most common
donut made by the public is round like a ring
with a hole in the middle. But as time goes by,
now there is a donut that is viral again called
loukoumades (Greek donut) which comes in a
smaller size than the usual donuts, and is served
with various toppings according to taste such as
chocolate, white chocho, tiramisu, green tea, etc.

and the community who are reliable and at
the forefront of entrepreneurship.

be able to enjoy 1 serving of
loukoumades that we offer, you
only need to pay Rp. 8,000. At
that price you will get 1 portion
full of happiness.

levels of society,
from children to the
elderly. Most of these
groups can afford to
buy the products we
offer, because the
prices we provide
are affordable for all
groups.

- Materials for production are very
easy to obtain.
- Brings a lot of profit.
- Indonesian people are very
consumptive with contemporary
products.

Promotion can be done using internet
media such as via Instagram, Twitter,
WhatsApp. Due to technological
developments, it will be easier for people
to access our business.

PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT
Product development from this business
can add a taste that may not exist in other
competitors so as to provide added value
in the eyes of consumers. so that product
development is getting better, and the
level of product characteristics is getting
recognized every day.

DOING PROMOTIONS
- Every Saturday we will give a discount to
consumers who buy 4 portions of
loukoumades, so we will give a discount of
5%.
- If consumers share our products on their
social media for 3 purchases, we will give 1
serving of loukoumades for free.

business, because the failures we
experience are learning materials to
improve our efforts.
