The Role

As an Independent Credit Risk Assessment Head, you will oversee the independent credit assessment
and portfolio monitoring functions of the Group's (Bank and its Subsidiaries) wholesale credit risk
taking, ensuring identification, assessment and mitigation of risk issues and alignment of business
risk taking with the Group's risk appetite, target portfolio profile and risk -reward objectives.

How You'll Contribute


 Evaluates soundness of credits by identifying risk issues, assessing alignment of account
plans with industry risk- reward portfolio actions, and making recommendations on risk
mitigations and credit structures to ensure portfolio quality.
 Approves risk ratings and credit classifications.
 Performs portfolio profiling and analysis and reporting to show migrations and identifying
distressed/ at risk accounts.
 Identifies, measures and assesses material individual, aggregate and emerging wholesale
credit risks.
 Collaborates closely with Crecom by providing essential inputs to the committee on policy
issues and on policy issues and credit assessment to ensure strong individual and portfolio
credit exposures.
 Presents and explains risk reports to the ROC, CRO and business units.
 Monitors and reports early warning indicators to ensure proactive and forward-looking risk
management.
 Empowers, develops, and recognizes employees through mentoring, rewards and
recognitions to encourage.
 Orchestrates credit information sharing on accounts and industries using as close to real time
internal and external sources for proactive risk management of the accounts and portfolio.
 Ownership, implementation, use and maintenance of the ECL and industry risk- reward
models.

What We’re Looking For

 Bachelor's / College Degree in Business Studies/Administration/Management, Commerce,


Economics, Finance/Accountancy/Banking
 Job Specialization: Banking and Financial, Corporate Finance/Investment, Credit
(Evaluation/Appraisal), risk management
 Knowledge of financial and analysis and portfolio analytics
