Ambarawa is one of the sub-districts in Semarang
district, Central Java province. Ambarawa is a beautiful and
cool district. In Ambarawa itself there are many interesting

Semarang. Rawa Pening is one of the tourist attractions in
Central Java, to be more precise, in Semarang district.
Rawa Pening presents a wide panorama of the lake. It
occupies four sub-districts in Semarang Regency, namely:
Bawen, Ambarawa, Tuntang, and Banyubiru sub-districts.
Located in the basin between Mount Merbabu, Mount
Telomoyo and Mount Ungaran. Rawa Pening is a natural
lake with an area of around 2,670 hectares. Unfortunately,

using nets by fishermen. Many local residents work as
fishermen. It is not surprising that there are many fishing
boats in the middle and on the shores of the lake. This
further adds to the beauty of this swamp.

rented out by the residents. walking around on the water
surrounded by water hyacinth. To go to the Rawa Pening
area you can go through Ambarawa. From the Ambarawa
