A. Introduction What I need to know?
The learner will read the different objective of this lesson.
B. Development
1. Read measurement in terms of Resistance, Current and Voltage.
The purpose of this lesson is to make the learner’s familiarize from the resistance current and
voltage measurement and to the unit of measurement used. Also, this lesson will make the
learner realize the relationship between resistance, current and voltage.
What’s new?
In order for the learners to have clear idea on the different objectives presented, they will
answer first this activity.

What’s new?
The students will look to the following photo and try to
recognize these devices. Eventually, they will realize that
these are all electrical measuring instruments.

To test what they already know, they need to answer the pre-test as follows.

I. Directions: Identify the type of measuring instrument described in each number. Choose
your answer on the word box and write it on the space before the number.

Directions: Using the Multi-tester, the learner will going to test the
electrical outlets at their house also, they will going to measure the
voltage of the outlets. (Note: be sure that the selector switch of the
tester are set in 250 ACV to avoid accident).
