NOTIFICATION
In exercise of the
powers conferred by section 180 of the
Tamil Nadu Co-operative Societies Act, 1983.
(Tamil1 Nadu nct 30
of 1983), the Governor of Tåmil Naâu
hereby makes the. following
amendment to the Tani] Na å Co-operative Societ ies Rules, 1988
AMENDMENT
In the said Rules, fornle 149, the following rule shall
be substituted, n¡mely
"149, Conditions of service o£ paid officers: and servants of
Societlesi- (1).Every society snal1, taking into account
its nature of business, volume of transact ion and finanoial
position, adopt, with the prior approval of the kegistrar of
Co-operative Societies, a Spedial by-iaw .covering the service
condit ions of its employee.s. The spacial bylaw shall, Inter-alia,
prescribe the followingi
(1) Cadre. strength and classi£ication of varlaus categories
of posts and the qualifidations, required thereof fox each
8uch posts.
(£1) The method. of recruitent for each such posts.
(111) The scale of pay and allowances for each such posts.
(iv) Conaitions of probation for each suck posts,
(v) Dut les and responsibilties for each sugh: posts.
(vt) Leave of various kinds admissible and the conditions.

(vi1) The penalties that may be imposed upon and the procedure
for taking disciplinary action and tnflicting varlous
kinds of punishments for each such posts.
(vi11) Conditions relating to acquisition qnd lsposal of
movable and immovable property
