All unnecessary risks must be reduced. The safety of the
guests/members and staff is the primary concern. All staff should know their duties and responsibilities, and must carry them out without panic or carelessness.
Procedure:
Listen well to the fire alarm. Relevant information will be
broadcast over the Resort’s public address system.
Remain alert and discreetly prepare to evacuate.
If guests do not inquire, no information should be offered.
If guests inquire, calmly and authoritatively tell them:
“The Resort Security and Engineering Departments are on
their way to the location of the alarm. If we need to take any action, we will receive instructions through the public address system.”
In case the order to evacuate is given, all employees should
calmly assist guests within the Fitness & Pool premises to the nearest/safest Fire Exit.
Lock up all work papers and take possession of valuable
documents and properties.
Leave in a calm, orderly manner using the nearest Fire Exit.
Follow the directions/instructions of the Evacuation Team.
