GUIDELINES FOR ORAL PRESENTATION

The “International Conference on Biodiversity & CEBREM 11th Anniversary” goes on online
platform so we need to implement appropriate measures to make our activity a success with this online
platform.

Please read and be guided with the following:

1. Oral presentation authors are allotted with a 10-minute (max.) pre-recorded video in MP4
format.

The MP4 file can be saved by using the “record” function of Zoom. In the video, please open
your camera as presenter and navigate through your online presentation via “share screen”
option.

2. If less than 25 MB, the MP4 video may be emailed directly. But if it is more than 25 MB, the
authors may opt to send the file via free large file transfer services, such as WeTransfer or
Google Drive.

Using either process, email the details to cebrem.anniversary@cmu.edu.ph with subject: ICB
2022-Oral Presentation with file name Last Name-Oral-Presentation

3. Submission deadline for emailing the video file is on November 08, 2022 until 11:59 PM. This
is to allow the organizers to prepare the files for the conference. The session facilitator can only
play your pre-recorded video after confirming your presence at the assigned session. Any no
shows or absences in presentation of the accepted abstracts will not be published in the final
conference proceedings, certificates, etc.

4. These pre-recorded videos will be played in specific schedules. Schedule will be provided to
the authors a few days before the event. The presenting author must be present in the specific
Zoom room where their assigned talk is being played. They must then be present for the Q &
A portion of the parallel session.

The videos will also be archived in Google Drive. If you have concerns regarding the potential
breach of unpublished data, please email us to notify your refusal at
cebrem.anniversary@cmu.edu.ph and we will NOT release your video.
