two (242) micro small enterprises such as dry goods, spices, cages, root crops, fish and
meat stands and variety stores. Descriptive research design was fit to describing the key
success factors (KSFs) of the micro small enterprises operating in the area. Likewise,
there was an actual survey basing on the number of participating micro small enterprises
Initial findings revealed that meat stand businesses found the following success
factors extremely important into its business operations such as good customer service
(4.86), hard work (4.79), access to capital (4.43) and there is support of family and
friends (4.79), where the other micro small may consider to replicate these success
The study recommended reviewing the following weak areas of success factors
such as previous experience (3.32), appropriate training (3.05), position in society (2.84)

and political involvement (1.84) which were ranked as mildly important. The study
recommends that root crops might consider meat stands’ key success factors.
