MCU INSULAT 230

Product description and technology

Single component thermo insulating acrylic polymer coating. MCU-INSULAT 230 is a superior thermo Insulating coating for
insulating pipe structures up to 230 ºC (446 ºF) and flat vertical surfaces up to 200 ºC (392 ºF). MCU-INSULAT 230 has the best
insulation performance (lowest thermal conductivity) actually available in the market when compared to other similar thermal
insulation coatings. It is designed to provide a seamless thermal insulation for a variety of industrial, marine and domestic appli-
cations and offers in combination with MCU-Coatings primers a perfect protection against CUI, providing an effective alternative
to typical insulating systems. Stone wool insulation systems many times suffer loss of insulation properties, corrosion under
insulation (CUI) due to the penetration of water. MCU-INSULAT 230 is a true coating, due to its excellent insulation, reflectivity
and emissivity, MCU-INSULAT 230 excels at insulating structures and equipment from radiant energy and will protect personnel
from burn hazards from hot and cold substrates. MCU-INSULAT 230 is extremely light weight and pliable, it expands and con-
tracts with the surface to which it is applied. it reduces both the space and weight for any given structure or piece of equipment.
MCU-INSULAT 230 can be applied direct to cold and hot steel, concrete and coated surfaces. In case you like to provide extra
corrosion prevention MCU-Coatings primers can be applied.
