12. EMERGENCY SERVICES

To report an emergency or to request medical assistance dial:

Medical
Security
Medical Department

Ambulance
Hospital
Fire

Calmly give your name, nature of emergency, location and stay on the line until it is clear that your
message was understood or further information is not required.

If the Emergency was:

1. Medical:
Return to the injured and provide what assistance that you can until emergency
personnel arrive. Note this is only to be done, if it can be done without compromising
your safety.
2. Rescue:
Return to the area and be prepared to assist emergency personnel.
(DO NOT ATTEMPT A RESCUE BY YOURSELF).
3. Fire:
If the fire is small and can be extinguished with an extinguisher do so. Send someone
to report the fire.
- If the fire is too large to extinguish with an extinguisher, report the fire and
evacuate to the designated assembly area.
4. Vapor Release:
Upon completion of the call evacuate to the designated assembly area.
(DO NOT ATTEMPT TO RETURN TO THE AREA OF THE RELEASE).
