Quality Management:

 Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) for
elevator/escalator operations, including establishing policies, procedures, and
documentation to ensure compliance with international quality standards such
as ISO 9001.
 Conduct risk assessments and hazard analyses for elevator/escalator
operations to identify potential quality issues, safety hazards, and
environmental impacts, and develop mitigation measures.
 Monitor and analyze data and performance metrics related to quality, safety,
health, and environmental aspects, such as customer feedback, inspection
results, and non-conformance reports, and implement corrective actions as
needed.
 Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, production,
and service departments, to ensure that quality requirements are met
throughout the entire lifecycle of elevator/escalator projects, including new
installations and modernization projects.

Safety Management System:

 Develop, implement, and maintain the Safety Management System (SMS) for
elevator/escalator operations, including establishing safety policies,
procedures, guidelines, and programs to comply with local regulations,
industry standards, and company policies.
 Conduct safety inspections and audits of elevator/escalator installations,
equipment, and processes to identify and address potential safety hazards,
and implement appropriate corrective actions.
 Monitor and track safety incidents, accidents, and near misses, and conduct
investigations to determine root causes, and develop and implement
preventive measures to minimize the risk of recurrence.
 Provide safety guidance and support to project teams, subcontractors, and
field personnel to ensure that safe work practices are followed during
installation, modernization, and maintenance activities.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

 Develop and track department specific KPIs for New installation, service,
modernization and warehouse departments, such as quality performance,
safety performance, customer satisfaction, and compliance with regulations
and standards.
 Measure and monitor departmental performance against established quality
and safety goals and objectives and analyse trends and patterns to identify
areas for improvement.
 Prepare reports and presentations to senior management, highlighting KPI
results, trends, and improvement opportunities, and provide
recommendations for actions to achieve performance targets.

Training for Employees and Subcontractors:

 Conduct training needs assessments for employees and subcontractors


involved in field operations, including identifying knowledge gaps and skill
requirements.
 Develop and deliver targeted QHSE training programs, workshops, and
seminars, covering topics such as quality management, safety practices,
environmental regulations, and compliance with company policies.
 Collaborate with department managers and cross-functional teams to develop
and deliver specialized training programs for specific job roles, such as
installers, technicians, and inspectors, to ensure that they are competent and
capable of performing their tasks safely and effectively.
 Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through
assessments, feedback, and performance evaluations, and update training
materials and methods as needed in coordination with HR department.

Internal Audits and Inspections:

 Conduct internal audits and inspections of departmental processes,


procedures, and documentation to verify compliance with the QMS, SMS, and
other QHSE requirements.
 Identify areas for improvement, such as process inefficiencies, documentation
gaps, and non-compliance with quality and safety standards, and develop
corrective action plans in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
 Plan and execute audits and inspections in accordance with established audit
plans, and prepare comprehensive audit reports documenting findings,
recommendations, and follow-up actions.
 Monitor and track the implementation of corrective actions and verify their
effectiveness to ensure that identified issues are resolved and closed in a
timely manner.

External Audits and Inspections:

 Coordinate and facilitate external audits and inspections by regulatory


agencies, customers, or third-party certification bodies to assess the
company's compliance with quality, safety, health, and environmental
regulations and standards.
 Provide necessary documentation, records, and evidence during external
audits and inspections, and collaborate with relevant departments to address
audit findings and implement corrective actions.
 Maintain effective communication and positive relationships with external
auditors and inspectors and ensure timely closure of audit findings and
compliance with audit requirements.

Documentation and Reporting:

 Establish and maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation related to


QHSE activities, including policies, procedures, guidelines, records, reports,
and other relevant documentation.
 Prepare regular reports, metrics, and presentations on QHSE performance,
including quality, safety, health, and environmental indicators, for
management review and decision-making.
 Ensure that all relevant QHSE documentation and records are properly
maintained, archived, and retrievable for future reference and audits.

Continuous Improvement:

 Proactively identify areas for improvement in QHSE processes, systems, and


practices, and develop and implement initiatives to drive continuous
improvement.
 Engage in root cause analysis and problem-solving activities to address
recurring issues and implement preventive measures to avoid potential
quality, safety, health, and environmental incidents.
 Stay updated with the latest industry trends, regulations, and best practices
related to quality, safety, health, and environmental management, and provide
recommendations for incorporating them into the company's QHSE programs.

Collaboration and Communication:

 Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as engineering, supervisors,


service technicians, and procurement, to ensure effective integration of QHSE
requirements into elevator/escalator projects and operations.
 Provide guidance and support to department managers, supervisors,
employees, and subcontractors on QHSE-related matters, and promote a
culture of safety, quality, and environmental awareness.
 Communicate and liaise with customers, regulatory agencies, third-party
certification bodies, and other external stakeholders on QHSE matters, and
address their concerns, inquiries, and requirements in a timely and
professional manner.

Training and Development:

 Continuously develop and enhance personal and professional competencies in


QHSE management through training, certifications, conferences, and other
relevant learning opportunities.
 Provide mentoring, coaching, and training to junior new employee, as well as
to employees and subcontractors involved in elevator/escalator operations, to
improve their QHSE knowledge, skills, and performance.
 Stay updated with the company's policies, procedures, and practices, as well
as relevant regulations, standards, and industry best practices, and ensure that
employees and subcontractors are trained and informed accordingly.
 Conduct review meeting with concern department on a monthly basis to
discuss and follow up with actions needed.
