(REACTION ABOUT OPEN-LOOP CONTROL SYSTEM VIDEO)

Based on the video presentation, it explains that the controller can manage its

inputs to get the specified effect on the output of system. One kind of control system

wherein the output has no have an effect on or impact at the control action of the input

signal is termed an Open-loop system.

They also defined the open-loop system by the actual fact that the output signal or

condition is neither measure nor “fed back” for contrast with the input signal or system

set point. Therefore, open-loop systems are normally known as a “Non-feedback

systems.”

Additionally, as an open-loop system doesn’t use feedback to work out if its required

output was achieved, it assumes that the specified goal of the input was successful

because it cannot accurate any errors it may make, and then cant compensate for any

external disturbances to the system.

The primary advantage of open-loop control systems is their simplicity and stability;

they are simpler in their layout and thus economical and stable as a result of their

simplicity; however, the disadvantage is their accuracy and reliability; because these

systems lack a feedback mechanism, they are very inaccurate in terms of result output

and thus unreliable.

(REACTION ABOUT FEEDBACK CONTROL SYSTEM VIDEO)

Based on the video about feedback control system, I'm a little confused about the

concept of feedback control system because it used an analogy of how to achieve your

desired toasted bread in the first part of the video which is I think doesn’t make sense

because I don’t know how it is relate in defining feedback control system. However, as

I continue to watch it, I am able to grasp the concept of a feedback control system

even better. I learned that feedback control system is one that uses the system's

current output to cause variation in the applied input signal in order to obtain the

desired output. Simply put, the presence of a feedback system allows us to obtain the

desired output by continuously comparing it to the system's reference input. Similar to

the analogy of how to make the perfect toasted bread. Instead of relying on the timer

setting to achieve the desired level of toastiness, you toasted the bread based on its

color.

Furthermore, I now have a better understanding of how the feedback control system

works. According to the block diagram video, it explains how you computed the

difference between the monitored and desired bread color, which gives you the error.

This error determines whether we leave the toaster on or turn it off. However, I believe

this is the section in which I clearly understand the point and how the feedback control

system works in the face of unexpected events. When they demonstrate that you have

already taken a warm shower. I believe that it is an appropriate example because it

clearly explains how the feedback control system reduces the possibility of fluctuations

in system parameters due to unexpected events or unwanted disturbances.

This is because, under variable conditions, the system's parameters may vary.
And such variations can have a negative impact on the system's performance. As a

result, the feedback is incorporated into the system, making it insensitive to unwanted

changes in the parameter.
