MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING

KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENT:

This Memorandum of Agreement is made between RICHARD L. AGSANGRE, hereafter

referred to as first party of ADORNA-BANZUELA NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL ANNEX,
Tinambac East District and NELSON L. ESPAÑO, PhD, School Principal III, hereafter referred
to as second party,

WITNESSETH

WHEREAS; the first party agrees his/her, effort, and service to Adorna-Banzuela
National High School. The first party understands that no monetary compensation will
be provided in exchange of the services;

WHEREAS; the first party will participate in volunteer work as Volunteer Numeracy
Teacher/Brigada Pagbasa Tutor/Reader for a minimum of ten (10) months from the
date of contract execution, working a minimum of 30 hours per week. First party
further agrees to keep track of his reporting hours through school’s log book and
submit a report of accomplishment;

WHEREAS; the first party agrees to undergo all necessary training development
activities to perform his duties and primarily assist regular teachers in facilitating
learning;

WHEREAS; the first party is required to follow social distancing measures and
practice proper hygiene in accordance with IATF health protocols, DOH health
standards, local and national quarantine rules and all other relevant protocols as
detailed in DepEd Task force COVID 10 issuances and adhere to DepEd Order No. 40
s. 2012, also known as the Child Protection Policy;

WHEREAS; the first party cannot hold the Proponent, School Head and school liable
for any damages caused by negligence of any sort in the first party’s part;

WHEREAS: the second party will award the first party the certificate for teaching
experience corresponding to the length of his service rendered, as stated in the
Regional Memorandum No. 52 s. 2021 (Regional Implementation of Brigada Pagbasa
during the Brigada Eskwela Implementation).

 NOW THEREFORE, in light of and in consideration of the foregoing premises, the
parties have agreed, as they agree, to sincerely cooperate in assisting in the reading
development of ADORNA-BANZUELA NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL learners.

This memorandum of agreement shall take effect immediately upon its signing by
parties and shall remain in full force and effect until terminated by mutual agreement
by the contracting parties.
