2 General Technical Condition

Function, assembly condition

Wedges, rolls, bolts, slides:

Parts must have ease of movement.

e.g. Too strong deformation of handrail post

plate at pouring platform.

Hinges:
Must be hinged.

e.g. Framax swivelling inside corner

Inner tubes:
Must be easy moving over the entire extent
and length
Testing on a lenght of 50cm – rotate during
testing

e.g. Eurex floor-prop

1.2 General Technical Condition
Wedges, cam thread:
Releasing agent or grease not allowed.

e.g. Tie rod, super plate, quick acting clamp

Filler neck SCC:

Inner surfaces must be treated with Zementan.

Threaded spindles with respective inner

thread, turnbuckles:
Must have ease of movement over entire
length and must be greased.

e.g. Supporting construction frames

1.2 General Technical Condition
Assembled parts:
Must be complete. (screw joints, splints, safety
locking bolts etc. see product overview).

e.g. Panel strut

Foreign parts:
Not allowed (parts welded on, nails etc.)

e.g. Welded-on plates at column element RS

not allowed.

Cracks (welding seam cracks, material):

Generally not allowed with lifting eyes,
load-bearing towers, working and protection
platforms. Otherwise up to max. 5 mm
allowed.

e.g. Cracks at lifting eye of stacking pallet not

allowed.

Turnbuckles:
Must have the same rotation direction when
built in. (Marking L resp. yellow zinc coated
screw always on the left side with standing
element and rear view).

e.g. Circular forming plate

Type plates, test sticker:

Must exist and must be readable.

e.g. Damaged type plate at stacking pallet not

allowed.

Additional bores, nail holes:

Not allowed at metal parts.
Nail holes and system bores at wooden parts
allowed.

e.g. Nail holes at the frame profile not allowed.

1.2 General Technical Condition
Galvanised parts:
Selective blank or rusty spots allowed.

Bare spots are not allowed on surfaces

touching the concrete.

Varnished parts:
Rust allowed
Exception: A / CH / D – rust at surface > 50%
not allowed

Rusty spots are not allowed on surfaces

touching the concrete.
(single spots of rust allowed).

e.g. Steel waling with formation of rust

Uncoated parts:
Concrete touching parts without coating must
be treated with OKS 2100 and must not be
rusty. (single spots of rust allowed).

e.g. Column formwork RS

1.2 General Technical Condition
Rusty formwork sheet not allowed with column
formwork RS.

Colour markings, letterings:

Not allowed unless product specifically
intended (e.g. universal elements at Framax).

Not allowed lettering at multi-trip transport box.

1.2 General Technical Condition

Deformations
The function of the parts must be given despite deformation (e.g. edge straightness).

No deformations allowed:
At locking elements and all parts within the
suspension area.

Bent lifting eye at stacking pallet not allowed.

Bending up to 2mm/lin.m.:
Allowed unless otherwise defined in detail. e.g.
at the side of the connecting area, waling,
supporting construction frames etc.

e.g. Attachable frame

Bending up to 1mm/lin.m.:
Plywood side of framed panels, climbing
profiles, spindles, vertical waling, vertical
waling MF

e.g. Climbing profile

1.2 General Technical Condition
Bending up to 5mm/lin.m.:
Struts and profiles at consoles and
handrail-posts, diagonal and cross profiles at
load-bearing towers, scaffold tubes,
lattice struts at supporting construction frame
and attachable frame.

e.g. Lattice struts at supporting construction

frame

Dents, buckles up to 3mm:

With metal formwork skin allowed (circular
formwork plate, stripping corner, hinged corner
etc.)

e.g. Frami inside corner

Impressions and burrs, deformation up to

a maximum of 1mm:
To be observed at wedges, bolts, concrete
touching contact areas.

e.g. Too strong deformation of cover plate for

Framax inside corner.

At a glance I 24
1.2 General Technical Condition
Selective deformations up to 3mm:
Allowed (dents or notches at walings, support-
ing construction frames, handrail posts, bent
handrail post plates etc.)

e.g. Too strong deformation at handrail post

plates.

Deformations up to 5 mm allowed:
At tie rods allowed.

e.g. Tie rod 15,0 (A deviation of 5mm is

allowed at a testing length of 50cm).

Deformations up to 10 mm allowed
(deviation from plane surface):
At metal parts allowed. (side plate, column
formwork platform planking, side walls
multi-trip transport box)

e.g. Too strongly deformed side plate at

closure platform.
