Project Thusano
TEST PROCEDURE
The test procedures for testing the RMI 30 Indicator together with the test bench and test equipment is as follows:
a) Ensure all switches are in the following positions.
i) 28 Vdc. OFF
ii) Toggle switch COMPASS, ADF 1, ADF 2 OFF
iii) Rotating switch COMPASS, ADF 1, ADF 2 0º

b) Connection of the RMI 30 indicator, NR 3300, RMI AMP, and confirmation of the Power supply.
i) Plug the connector of the VOR TEST CABLE of the RMI TEST BENCH to the NR 3300.
ii) Plug the connector of the antenna of the NR 3300 to the BNC socket RF of the generator.
iii) Plug the connector of the RMI TEST CABLE of the RMI TEST BENCH to the RMI 30.
iv) Plug the connector of the AMP TEST CABLE of the RMI TEST BENCH to the RMI AMP.
v) Check that all the switches in the NAV NR 3300 are in position OFF.
vi) Connect the Power Supply of 26 Vac. 400 Hz and 27 Vdc to the RMI 30 TEST BENCH.
vii) Switch the MARCONI Signal Generator “ON” and select the following:
(1) Press “UTL” Hard Key and select in the MOD mode Soft Key.
(2) Select “AVIONIC” mode Soft Key
(3) Select VOR Soft Key and press “SIG GEN” Hard Key.
(4) Select CARR ON-OFF Hard Key in “OFF”
