To simplify the reading of the following document, here is the explanation of the main acronyms and specific
names used in the following presentation
❑ wiTECH 2 → The official Stellantis Diagnostic Tool for the aftersales network of the former FCA Brands
❑ VCI → Vehicle Communication Interface: The electronic device you connect to the EOBD to communicate to the vehicle
❑ MDP → Mo.Par. Diagnostic Pod, is the current wiTECH VCI used since 2021
❑ NAFTA → North America Free Trade Agreement, refers to the former FCA North American region, for our purposes

❑ Each user can only associate a VCI to its own User ID
❑ It is possible to enter more than one VCI under the same User ID
❑ All other fields will be automatically filled in based on the User ID information
❑ If the process is successfully completed, an OK flag (green background) will appear on Delete

For FLAPH + CJD Dealerships you have, first, to associate the VCI with FLAPH credentials
Then proceed, as described here below, using Dealer Connect credentials (T-ID or S-ID)
You have to fill in the UserId field with your S-ID or T-ID 2

Primary NAFTA DealerCode is selected by default, select the proper one from the drop down list
CJD Only Dealerships have to open a wiTECH Helpdesk ticket to get a VCI registered
4. wiTECH2 VCI Asset Management - Available functions
Beside the possibility to see all the Users associated to a specific VCI (based on the Serial Number),
you also have the possibility to get the full list of VCIs associated to your Dealer Code
❑ If any issue occurs, or in case of any need (e.g. a deleted VCI needs to be reassigned) please contact the wiTECH Help Desk.

5. wiTECH2 VCI Setup – VCI configuration
Prior to use a VCI, you need to configure it: the configuration is needed to be sure that it is properly configured, can
access your Wi-Fi network and it is up to date
❑ Download the software "microPOD Setup Utility" from wiTEXEDI / Software and install it
❑ Then relaunch the "microPOD Setup Utility" program by clicking on the icon
❑ Connect the VCI to the USB port on the PC and click on "Continue"
❑ Update done.
❑ Click on the suggested link to access Witech2 and proceed to the next available System Release update step

❑ A VCI update window, giving its identification number, will be shown on the first page of wiTECH 2.0.

❑ The system will automatically open the DEVICE MANAGER window, showing the firmware and
software currently installed on the VCI and those available on the network.

❑ DO NOT disconnect the VCI from the USB and DO NOT close the
"microPOD Setup Utility" application
To open DEVICE
❑ Open the DEVICE MANAGER by pressing the gear-shaped button MANAGER
❑ If the screen showing the device does not appear, check that it is
properly registered on wiTEXEDI \ VCI Asset Management and that
there are no security components (Firewall / Antivirus) installed on
your PC preventing to access the cloud

❑ Select the Wi-Fi network to which you want to connect the MDP

❑ It is also possible to select a network without PROXY or a dedicated HOTSPOT by entering the
relevant parameters (PASSWORD and/or PROXY ADDRESS)

❑ From now on, the VCI is configured to use Wi-Fi to work with the selected network
❑ Close the DEVICE MANAGER and disconnect the MDP from the USB
