AIM:

To draw and take a print out of single line diagram of single phase MCB distribution board
by using AutoCAD..

SOFTWARE USED:

AutoCAD 2007

SETTING LIMITS:

Command : LIMITS
(Assuming A4 size is set for Drawing)
Command : LIMITS
Reset model space limits :
Specify lower left corner or [on/off] <0.0000, 0.0000> : 0,0
Specify upper right corner <210.0000, 297.0000> : 210,297
Command : GRID
Specify grid spacing (x) or [ON/OFF/snap/aspect]<10.0000> : 10
Command : ZOOM
Specify corner of window, enter a scale factor (nX or nXP), or
: ALL
[All/center/dynamic/extents/previous/scale/window]<Real time>
Regenerating model.

PROCEDURE:

1. AutoCAD 2007 software is opened.

2. A new drawing file is created and opened.
3. Limits are fixed as per the drawing sheet size.
4. The given diagram is drawn by using the drawing commands LINE, CIRCLE, RECTANGLE,
DONUT etc., in AutoCAD.
5. The drawn diagram is edited by using Editing commands such as TRIM, MOVE, COPY, ERASE,
PASTE, MIRROR.
6. Using DTEXT or TEXT commands, the text is written for the drawing.
7. The diagram is saved using SAVE command.
INFERENCE

I have learned that single phase distribution board can be drawn by using the basic
commands such as line,rectangle,circle&Edited by the Commands like cut
,copy,paste,move,array,trim,mirrors,hatch,test,etc

RESULT:

Thus the single line diagram of single phase MCB distribution board by using AutoCAD was
drawn and it has been printed out.
