Mission and Vision The mission and vision of the school is to

create and promote commercial techniques

that allow to the students build companies

that impact and develop the society and allow

the community to grow and develop.

Socio-Economic Context Middle Stratum

Facilities and resources This is a small school located in Patio Bonito

neighborhood in Bogotá, it is close to the city

of Cali Avenue.

Partnerships and Collaborations The school is associated with the SENA to

develop and add to the curriculum the

technical framework

Reputation and Accreditation The school is recognized in the neighborhood

as one of the private schools that holds for

more time, but it does not have more

recognition or certification.

Target Audience It has around 700 students.

Strengths The parents are allowed to spend time,

resources, and money to improve the quality

of education of their sons and daughters

Challenges and opportunities The school needs to improve the engagement

of the curriculum to link the topics to the

same goal which is to develop the commercial

skills of the students, however, they focus on

seeing all the matters as individual, and that

affects the link of the knowledge. They can

change the methodologies used in the

classroom and see all matters as something

that can be related between them, for example

with English they can improve their

vocabulary this is they use it in different

aspects and hours not only during the two

hours of class.

PEI:

El plan educativo institucional propuesto por el colegio ciudad de Cali tiene como

objetivo el desarrollo de personas con técnicas comerciales que una vez terminen su etapa de

bachiller, sean capaces de crear empresas y en el sector y promover el empleo en la localidad, el

énfasis en el desarrollo de estas técnicas se centra en la catedra de ciertas materias propias de la

industria, como la contabilidad, la gestión empresarial y finalmente el empalme con el SENA

como institución que permitirá a los estudiantes culminar sus estudios con un técnico que además

podría darles una ventaja en cuanto a conocimiento y capacitación se refiere.
