Give examples of each fallacy:

A. Argumentum ad Misericordiam (Appeal to Pity)

 “ Forgive me Ma'am, there are a lot of things I've done in our house so I didn't pass my
assignment on time.”

B. Argumentum ad Ignorantiam “Appeal to Ignorance”

 “When someone claims that ghosts or UFO's don't exist since their existence hasn't
proven, then this fallacy occurs.”

C. Fallacy ad Equivacation

 “It is morally right to provide aid to those impacted by the hurricane. Therefore, this
population has a right to the aid we have offered.”

D. Fallacy ad Composition

 “You are a teacher; therefore, you came from a family of teachers.”

E. Fallacy ad Division

 “I recently saw a report about teachers who are dissatisfied with their salaries. My
cousin Ivy, a teacher, must be dissatisfied with her salary.”

F. Argumentum ad Hominem “ Attacking the Person”

 “How can we believe him when he talks about honestly is the best policy, he is a honor
student who is cheater.”

G. Argumentum ad Baculum (Appeal to Force)

 “Marry me or I will kill your family.”

H. Argumentum ad Populum “Appeal to People”/ Bandwagon fallacy

 “I'm sure you like her. Most of our classmates have a crush on her.”
I. False cause (post hoc)

 “ Every time I put my reviewer under my pillow, I got a good score.”

J. Hasty Generalization

 “Their parents are both COVID positive, thus their entire family is.”

K. Pepitio Principii (Begging the Question)

 “Murder is morally wrong. Therefore, abortion is morally wrong.”
