3 Latest Testimony from the Case of a Family
Killed in Kalideres.

The death of a family in their house in the

Kalideres area, West Jakarta is still a mystery. The
police continue to try to uncover the motives and
causes of the deaths of the four victims, one of
which is by asking for statements from a number
of witnesses.

Although until now the cause of the death of a

family in Kalideres has not yet been clarified, a
number of new facts that have recently been
revealed are quite surprising.

Of the four bodies, one of them is known to have

died since May 13, 2022. The victim was Reni
Margaretha.

This was revealed after investigators examined

three witnesses who said that the victim Budiyanto
wanted to mortgage his house certificate to a
savings and loan cooperative.
At that time, a mediator invited two cooperative
employees to the victim's house and that's when an
unpleasant smell wafted from the house.

"At that time the deceased Budiyanto received it,

as soon as he opened the gate he could smell an
extraordinary stench in May, May 13," said
Kombes Hengki Haryadi in Jakarta, Monday,
November 21, 2022.

It didn't stop there, when the two of them were

asked to enter Reni's room, an even more piercing
stench was felt. Despite trying to hide it, one of the
cooperative's employees eventually finds out the
truth.

It turned out that the stench that wafted was

coming from Reni's rotting body. "As soon as I
saw it, the person concerned shouted takbir
Allahuakbar, this is a corpse, on May 13," said
Hengki.

Previously, there was also news that the husband

and wife who died along with a daughter were
known to have two other children. Later this
information was corrected by the police by stating
that the two were the younger siblings of the
deceased.

"So the one who lives in Bekasi is Mrs.

Margaretha's younger sister," said Head of Public
Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Endra
Zulpan to journalists, Sunday, November 20
yesterday.

The following is a series of new facts that were

revealed from the testimony of witnesses to the
death of a family in Kalideres:
1. The Two Witnesses Being Examined Are Not
Children, but the Victim's Sisters

Initially, the Head of Public Relations of Polda

Metro Jaya Kombes Endra Zulpan said that his
party had examined two children from husband
and wife pair Rudyanto Gunawan and K
Margaretha Gunawan.

However, it was clarified that the two of them

were not the children of the victim. The two of
them are just the younger siblings of the victim
Margaretha who lives in Bekasi and had visited the
Kalideres Polsek some time ago.
Meanwhile, the child of Rudyanto and Margaretha
was one of the victims who died in this
heartbreaking incident.

So the child who died is Dian's name," he said.

"So there are two people who are being examined,

namely the younger sister of Mrs. Margaretha.
Margaretha is a mother who owns a house, she
lives with her husband," continued Zulpan.

2. Some of the Victims Have Died Since May 13,

2022.

The police revealed that the victims who died in

the incident were husband and wife who owned
the house on behalf of Rudiyanto and Reni
Margareta, then Dian (child), and Budiyanto
(Rudyanto's brother-in-law).
From the results of the investigation, it is known
that some of them have been dead since May 13,
2022.

The Director of General Criminal Investigation at

Polda Metro Jaya, Senior Commissioner of Police
Hengki Haryadi, said in Jakarta on Monday that
the death of a family was revealed after
investigators examined three witnesses who said
that the victim Budiyanto wanted to mortgage his
house certificate to a savings and loan cooperative.

Budiyanto had intended to sell the house through a

mediator and immediately handed over the original
certificate of the house to the mediator.

The mediator then found a savings and loan

cooperative to pawn the house certificate and then
took two of the cooperative's employees to the
victim's house on Friday, May 13, 2022. Upon
arriving at the house, the witnesses were surprised
by a pungent stench from inside the house.

When asked by Budiyanto about the smell, he said

it was just the smell of sewage that had not been
cleaned.
The witnesses then entered the house and asked to
meet the owner of the house whose name was on
the certificate, namely Reni Margareta.

Then the savings and loan cooperative employee

was invited by Dian and Budiyanto to Reni's room,
but at that time Dian asked not to turn on the room
lights.

"As soon as the door to the room was opened, this

employee came in, exuding an even more foul
smell. Where is the mother, she is sleeping but
don't turn on the light because my mother is
sensitive to light," Hengki imitated Dian's words.

Unbeknownst to Dian, one of the employees of the

savings and loan cooperative turned on the
flashlight on his cellphone and was shocked to see
the condition of Reni Margareta who had become
a corpse.

"As soon as I saw it, the person concerned shouted

takbir Allahuakbar, this is a corpse, on May 13,"
said Hengki.
3. The late Budyanto asked the witness not to
report to the police.

The mediator and the two cooperative employees

then immediately left and did not want to continue
the mortgage process. However, Budiyanto
pursued the three witnesses and begged that this
incident not be reported to anyone.

"One of these witnesses was chased by Budiyanto.

'Please sir, don't report it to the police, don't report
it to the RT or residents here and it turns out that it
wasn't reported," said Hengki.

Hengki also regretted that the incident was not

immediately reported to the authorities, even
though there were already parties who knew about
the incident.

"What we regret is that all of us as citizens should

not be permissive, incidents like this should be
reported," said Hengki, quoted by Antara.
