be brought to class each day. Absent: If you are absent, it is your responsibility to make

have been missed. 2 Days to complete absent work - 5
points taken each day late, Max out at 5 days.

Grading Tardy: I expect students to be on time, an excessive

Classwork: 20%
Quizzes: 25%
Projects/Performance: 35%
amount of tardiness will result in a write up and/or a call
home.
Bathroom/Passes: Bathroom is located in the classroom for
you to use. One person is allowed out at a time.
Cell Phones: Phones/airpods must be put away during
class. Can be used during individual work time or if the
teacher sees that all work is complete.

The Science 7 course includes 4 units:

Required Supplies
The following supplies are to be brought to class each day.
➔ Pencil
➔ Charged Chromebook
➔ Binder (at least 1” thick)

Classroom Rules All students are expected to be present, engaged, and respectful each day.

Lab Expectations Students are expected to follow lab safety guidelines. Misuse of materials or
unsafe practices may result in a failing grade and/or removal from future labs.

Academic Integrity Any instance of academic dishonesty will result in a grade of zero.

Extra Help Students who are struggling in class will be encouraged to stay after school on
Tues. & Wed. until 3:30pm for Tutoring.

Grades & Attendance Grades and attendance can be found on the online portals. The grading scale
for Science 7 will follow that outlined in the Student Handbook.
