Parking Building
1. Classification: Group E occupancy, Business & Mercantile
2. Occupancy: Division E-1
3. Zoning: C-1 (Commercial One or Light Commercial) or UTS (Utilities,
Transportation, and Systems)
4. Parking Slots
a. Car (Perpendicular & Diagonal) – 2.50 x 5.00 meters
b. Car (Parallel) - 2.15 x 6.00 meters
c. PWD Parking – 3.70 x 5.00 meters
5. Parking Area
a. Minimum 100-150 mm stripe for parking slots
b. Minimum 150 mm wheel stop from the rear parking slot
c. Minimum 2100 mm vertical clearance for multi-level car park buildings
6. Ramps
a. Should not exceed 20% or 1:5 slope
b. A transition of 2.40 meters is required at each end of ramp for slopes
greater than 10% or 1:10 slope.
c. Angle of approach is 14 degrees.
