DIRECTADMISSION NOTIFICATION for B.Tech./B.Pharm./MCA

Session 2023-24
Applications are invited for direct admission to the vacant seats, remaining after the
UPTAC Counselling Session 2023-24, on merit basis in B.Tech., MCA and B. Pharm.
programmes for the following disciplines.
(). B. Tech. (First Semester) in Civil Engineering
(i). B.Tech. (First Semester) in Computer Science &Engineering
(iii). B. Tech. (First Semester) in Computer Science & Engineering (Artificial
Intelligence)
(iv). B. Tech. (First Semester) in Electronics and Communication Engineering
(v). B. Tech. (First Semester) in Electrical Engineering
(vi). B.Tech. (First Semester) in Mechanical Engineering
(vii). B. Tech. Third Semester (lateral entry) in the above-mentioned branches
(sl.no. (i)-(vi)) of Engineering.
(viii). Master of Computer Applications (MCA) Two years course.
(ix). B. Pharm. (First Semester)
(x). B. Pharm. Third Semester (lateral entry).
Eligibility for Admission to Vacant Seats: -
1. For B. Tech. Programmes:- Candidate should have passed (10+2) examination and
obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST
category) in the subjects taken together from U.P. Board, C.B.S.E. or any recognized
board.
2. For MCA Programme: BCA/B. Sc. (Computer Science/ITIMathematics) with 55%
marks (50% for SC/ST)in aggregate.
3. For B. Pharm. Programme: Candidate should have obtained 60% (55% for SC/ST
candidates) marks in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics/Biology/ Bio-Technology/
Computer Science in intermediate (10+2) examination from U.P. Board, CBSC or any
recognized board.
4. For B. Tech. (Lateral Entry) Programmes:- Candidate should have obtained 45%
(40% for SC/ST candidates)marks in Diploma in Engineering Examination from Board
of Technical Fducation (UP) or any recognized board.
5. For B. Pharm. (Lateral Entry)Programme:- Candidate should have obtained 60%
(55% for SC/ST candidates) mark in Diploma in Pharmacy from Boards of Technical
Education (UP) or any recognized board.
 Note:In addition to above qualification, candidate must have qualijfied any
entrance examination (suchas JEE-2023/CUET(UG)-2023/CUET(PG)-2023 or any
other) conducted by a recognized institution/ body.
Fee Structure:
B. Tech. Rs. 60,080-00 per semester
MCA Rs. 56.080=00 per semester
B. Pharm. Rs. 60,080=00 per semester
Note:- In addition to above, one time enrollment fee Rs. 1000=00 and caution
money Rs. 5,000=00 (refundable) willalso be charged from each student
along with first semester fee.
Admission Process and Counselling: -
1. Interested and eligible candidates may apply in the proforma given below. Self-attested
copies of following documents are to be attached with the application.
a. High School Mark
sheet/Certificate
b. Intermediate Mark sheet/Certificate
c. BCA/B.Sc. Mark sheet Certificate (for MCA)
d. Diploma Mark sheet/ Certificate (for Lateral Entry)
e. Result of entrance examination conducted by a recognized institution/ body.
2. Applications along with a draft of Rs. 500/- (as non-refundable application fee) in
favour of Finance Officer, University of Lucknow, Payable at Lucknow should reach
latest by 02/09/2023 to the Dean, Faculty of Engineering & Technology, University
of Lucknow, Second Campus, Jankipuram, Lucknow-226031.
3. The rank list of the candidates applied for admission will be declared on University of
Lucknow website (www.lkouniv.ac. in).
