COURSE DESCRIPTION :

The course develops learners on basic listening and speaking skills of English for everyday situations.
Extended discourse in dialogues, sound recognition and pronunciation, and features of spoken
English such as linking, assimilation, weak forms, stress and intonation at the word, phrase, sentence
and short spoken-discourse levels are studied. Oral performance in public such as introducing tourist
attractions, business and news relating topic are also included.

TOTAL WEEKS : 16 weeks including exams

RULES AND REGULATIONS

Students should behave according to the following guidelines at all times. GRADE SCORES SCALE

 Be punctual for school and all classes.


 Wear correct school uniform. A 80 +
 Knock first before you enter the classroom.
B+ 75-79
 Show respect to your teacher before entering the classroom.
 Complete the assigned school work. B 70-74
 Remain in class until dismissed by the teacher.
 Have all materials required for each class. C+ 65-69
 Raise hand when you want to talk to teacher.
C 60-64
The following types of behavior are unacceptable and should be avoided
at all times. D+ 55-59

 Speaking THAI Language. D 50-54


 Interruptions such as talking nonsense, laughing very loud, etc.
E 0 – 49
 Using mobile phone for other purposes such as social networking
while in the middle of discussion.
 Displaying a negative attitude towards society and school.
 Taking or damaging property belonging to the school or other
people.
 Showing disrespect towards others.
 Cheating during tests or examinations.
 Falsifying school reports and certificates.

Greeting, introduction ( oneself and someone ),complements and thanking, apologizing, parting,
expressing sympathy and congratulations, and giving information. This course also trains students to
express feelings and opinions, talk about the weather, asking and giving directions. Describing
people and things are also included.

TOTAL WEEKS : 16 weeks including exams

A study of English used within the field of public relations especially in presenting products or
services to the public. It focuses on the study of text types for announcement and advertisement in
various forms of media. It also encourages learners to learn how to use figurative language and
thought provoking language in the field of public relations, including lexical selection, headings,
slogans, catchwords, set phrases, jingles, etc.
