Ok, our topic this morning is all about the


different tools and equipment in baking and
their uses, and here are the objectives

At the end of the lesson, the students will


be able to:
1. Identify the uses and function of
tools and equipment in Bread and
Pastry Production.
2. Appreciate the importance of tools
and equipment in baking.
3. Prepare tools and equipment for
specific baking purposes.

In your activity, you will be divided into 3
groups. Each group will choose a leader to
represent their work and the activities to be
done are the following:
Group 1. Come up with the correct
definition of the difference between baking
tools and equipment by arranging the
jumbled words.
Group 2. Name the baking tools and
equipment.
Group 3. By arranging the jumbled letters,
give 10 examples of baking tools and
equipment.
Remember, this is group work, therefore, Yes, Ma’am.
everybody should cooperate for a better
grade. In this activity, you are only given 5
minutes. After 5 minutes finish or
unfinished you have to show your answer.

prepare in order to finish the activity.

BUTTER CAKE
Ingredients:
3 1/4 cups cake flour 1 ¾ cups sugar
1 cup butter 1 cup milk
8 eggs 1 tsp. vanilla
4 tsp. baking powder
Procedure:
1. Sift the dry ingredients together except the sugar.
2. In a large bowl, cream the shortening until light and fluffy.
3. Blend eggs one at a time and beat well after each addition.
4. Add vanilla to the milk.
5. Add dry ingredients and liquid ingredients alternately to the
creamed mixture, beginning and ending with dry ingredients.
6. Bake at 375 for 20 t0 30 minutes.
7. Cool the cake, invert, and the paper lining.
