Control Room Operative Training

As the 21st century dawns, we see continuing rapid changes occurring throughout the world
in security management. Even with the advent of professional police agencies throughout
the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries the primary responsibility for protecting private
property and lives against losses like theft, fraud and death attributed to criminal activities or
otherwise lies with property owner. This approach of protecting assets remains unchanged
in the 21st century and requires well trained CCTV Operatives who are proactive, understand
the various laws of the country, have great knowledge on access control management,
CCTV control management skills, have knowledge and skills to carry out investigations in the
corporate sector and liase with the law enforcement officers on criminal activities on behalf
of the company. The use of technology in surveillance is a pro-active in criminal deterrence,
reporting and investigation.
The Security System Control Management Program is a scheduled training course for the
CCTV operative team that seeks to enhance their efficient, effectiveness and understanding
of the expectations of the undercurrents of their operations.

Course Objectives
The main objective of the training is to prepare CCTV Operatives working in
corporate sector with relevant knowledge skills and attitudes to carry out
their security work efficiently, effectively and humanly. They will also be able
to deal with emerging and complex workplace challenges that threaten and
undermine the competitiveness of the company.

Prerequisite
General Knowledge of the demands of expectations of Security and Safety Management
Work experience in the security industry. The pre-assessment form will indicate the level of
training required.
