Social Media Manager

Task 1: Become a SM Manager

You will be assigned 5 major brands across different industries.

For each brand, you will be provided with a recent news headline or current event related to that
company.

Your task is to come up with a witty, engaging social media post for each brand, in response to the
news/event provided.

The post should be 1-2 sentences maximum and follow the brand's social media tone, voice and style.
You can use images, video, memes for your post if you want

OR just a witty one liner from each brand would suffice!!

You can pick any two of the 3 headlines given.

Your posts will be evaluated on:

• Creativity
• Brand relevance
• Alignment with brand voice and tone
• Engagement and wit
You cannot collaborate with others during this challenge. The work must be your own.

Task 2: Become the pull

In another hypothetical situation, you are going to conduct a unique, fun event as MAC which will last
over the weekend. Most of your batchmates don’t seem interested in the event. You had your hopes
from some people, but they are visiting nearby places over the same weekend or have other
commitments. How will you create hype about this event to attract participants?
