Mark 10:23-25
23 Jesus looked around and said to his disciples, “How hard it is for the rich to enter the kingdom of God!”

24 The disciples were amazed at his words. But Jesus said again, “Children, how hard it is to enter the
kingdom of God! 25 It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for someone who is rich to
enter the kingdom of God.”

This particular passage talks about how hard it is for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God. A rich man on
earth has all the things that he could ever dream of and it is quite difficult to leave everything behind.
However, according to Christ, for a person to enter the kingdom of God, he must not only follow the ten
commandments but he must also be willing to leave and forget all the treasure and possession he has on earth
to have eternal life with Christ in His kingdom.
