CONCLUSIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS

This chapter presents the conclusions and recommendations after the proponents have

gathered data and necessary information for the system.

Conclusions

Based on the findings presented and discussed in the preceding chapter of the study, the

proponents conclude the following;

1. The difficulties encountered by the incoming SHS students in choosing a strand are these

factors; Self, Family/Friends, and Financially.

2. The modules and features of the proposed recommender system contains sign up page,

log in page, home page, dashboard tab, my test tab, profile tab, contact tab, and my

reviews tab.

3. The developed system is resulted as “Acceptable” in Satisfaction, Efficiency, and

Effectivity acceptability by the users.

Recommendations

With the findings and conclusions stated, the following are further recommended:

1. The system should have SMS or Email notification for status.

2. The system should have an attempt history on the student’s side to view their previous

recommended strands.

3. Add chatbot feature that can answer frequently asked questions and provide guidance to

students who may have additional inquiries.

4. The system must generate report and it can be printed.

5. Include alumni success stories that can inspire users.
