Flow:
CREATING PATTERNS – 5 Marks

Objective: To enhance the logical reasoning and thinking skills through patterns. To make students
able to understand, draw and infer patterns from nature and surrounding.

Material required: Plain paper / A-4 size paper, Lady’s finger / leaves, poster colour.

Description: Draw any 5 different patterns with the help of prints by using lady's finger / thumb print /
leaves, etc.

HANDS ON LEARNING WITH FLAT
SHAPES – 5 Marks

Objective: To understand the features of flat shapes (2-d shapes) by making it with the help of buttons.

Material required: Plain paper / A-4 size


paper, colourful buttons / ice-cream sticks, glue, sketch
pens

Description: Teacher will ask students to make any 2 Flat shapes (Square, Rectangle, Circle, Triangle
& Oval) with the help of colourful buttons / ice-cream sticks on an A-4 size plain paper. Then, teacher
will guide them to write at least 2 features of that particular shape in the center of the shape.

Rubrics :
Any 2 Flat shapes with its features 4 marks
(Each shape carries 2 marks)

Creativity 1 mark
