Responsibilities for electrical & instrumentation technician

Coordinate with the production and other departments for feedback on the
functionality of machinery and equipment's to help resolve equipment
problems
Ability to read and follow flow diagrams, mechanical configuration drawings
and P&ID drawings
Ability to use hand and electric trucks, forklifts, and dollies
Ability to work overtime when called upon
Conduct scheduled, unscheduled, and preventive maintenance of process
and environmental equipment in accordance with the SOP, Safety Health &
Environment policies, and current Good Manufacturing Practices
Calibrate and certify instruments and scales
Disassemble, inspect, troubleshoot, clean, repair, and reassemble equipment
such as MCC’s, motors, instruments, valves, according to oral and written
instructions
Perform other advanced tasks such as Thermography, Interlock Testing,
Calibrations
Possession of a High School Diploma/GED or an Associate’s degree in
Electronics or Instrumentation
Minimum of five (5) years of experience with installing, calibrating,
troubleshooting and maintaining process instrumentation for measuring and
controlling flow, pressure, temperature and level
3 years of Electromechanical and/or Instrumentation & Electrical experience
Working knowledge of Programmable Electronic Systems (DCS, PLC), and the
HMI's that support these
Willingness to work overtime and respond to call-out after hours and
weekends when needed
College level classes preferred
Ability to climb stairs and exposure to heights
Able to read and understand P&ID drawings, schematic drawings, control
loop drawings, logic diagram and ladder diagram
