are now coming to pass [2 Tim. 3; 1-9].

Confusion and Emptiness plague many lives

today. The storms of life are raging and untold Number of people nurse fears about
what the future holds. But one thing is very sure everyone who believes in the God
has hope, even in perilous times. Be very sure that the grip of your hope is firm on
Christ, our savior. As seen in our text, David put his trust in the lord and it brought
great deliverance to him. Your trust in him will ensure you are never put to shame,
especially in the voyage of the year (Ps. 20:7).
A. Waiting upon the lord. Ps. 62; 1, 2.
King David declared the certainty of his soul waiting upon the lord. In making
God our hope and salvation, we need to learn how to wait upon Him in every
situation and there is no other way to do this except you first comes to Christ
wholeheartedly. The assurances of salvation must first be there. This explains
why David declares, “Truly, my soul waited upon God, from Him cometh my
salvation”. He is emphatic: “He ONLY is my rock and salvation.”King David
was absolutely sure of his personal encounter with God Almighty. Do you
know God? Do you seamless wait upon HIM? Do you see God as your rock and
salvation?
.
B. Confidence in God’s protection. Ps. 62:8-12
No matter how much the enemy buffets us, so long as God is our rock,
salvation and defense, there are no way we can be held captive by their hurtful
treatment. The Bible says”, if God be for us, who shall be against us” (Rom.8:31).
Placing all hope in God, knowing that God is in control, allows us to wait patiently
for Him to help, defend, protect, guide, guard as well as rescue us. True relief does
not come when the problem is resolved because the battle of life is complex, but
true relief comes from an enduring hope in God’s ultimate salvation. Only then will
all trails be resolved.
C. Great admonition ps.62:-12
We are told to put our trust in God at all times, because it is God at all times,
because it is tempting to use honor, power, wealth, or prestige to measure people. W
e note that such people are influential, but in God’s eyes, they may not be (LK.16:15)
what can then tilt the scale when God weighs us? TRUSTING GOD AND WORKING
FOR HIM. (V.12). Wealth, honor, power, or prestige add noting to our value in God’s
eyes, but the faithful work we do for him has eternal value. This stems from our
absolute dependence on Him.
