Part 1: Investigation

You are required to investigate your own home network connection, in terms of design,
performance and connectivity to the Internet. Based on your findings, write a report to
document the state of your own home network. Your report should include:

1. Topology design
2. Network Devices
3. Transmission Medium
4. Network Performance

Part 2: Proposal for Improvements

Based on your investigation in Part 1, propose some improvements on your existing home
network to achieve better performance, security, reliability or manageability of a network.

Choose any of the TWO (2) areas above and discuss your proposed idea for network
improvements. In addition, you need to demonstrate the configuration steps on how to
implement it. You are advised to show the configuration technique on the existing device either
through Graphical User Interface (GUI) or Command Line Interface (CLI). Provide screenshot
of the configuration screen and justify the improvement ideas accordingly.
