PRAYER FOR THE 4TH PROVINCIAL CHAPTER OF THE ORDER OF

CARMELITES – PHILIIPPINES,
PROVINCE OF SAINT TITUS BRANDSMA

“Emmaus Experience: Moving on as Synodal and Radical

witnesses of being Disciples of the Risen Christ.”
To all confreres in the Philippine Carmelite Province of Saint Titus Brandsma:

Health in the Lord! Blessings of the Holy Spirit.

The past Triennium has given us profound experience being brothers and sisters in
the journey. We recognize our failures and together we celebrate our triumphs. This
journey can be likened to the journey of disciples when they lost the Lord. They felt
lost and abandoned. On their way of Emmaus, they failed to see the Lord journeying
with them because they dwelt in their dark past. But when they opened their hearts
to the Lord, they discovered true joy. With the grace of God, we become one in giving
witness of what we have experienced.

Hence, we come up with the following guide questions for our individual and
communal reflections with the hope of continuing our journey as Synodal and
Radical witness of being Disciples of the Risen Christ.
