► Reading Improves your brain muscle. Reading is to the mind what
exercise is to the body. Therefore it stimulates your creativity and
inagination.
► Reading improves your focus. When you are an avid reader, you are
able to concentrate on tasks and even lessons for a long period of
time.
► Learners who read consistently tend to perform better academically.
Simply, it encourages reasoning and thinking.
► Reading also helps in emotional development of learners. How?
When you read books, they evoke feelings from you. This way, you are
given a safe space to express your feelings on certain events without
