MERIDIUM THICKNESS DATA ENTRY INSTRUCTION

TO FIND OUT CIRCUIT No/EQUIPMENT- INSPECTION REPORT.

EX- CIRCUIT NR-YN-10-CL9-G-001

- Open Meridium
- Go to Home
- Go to Fixed equipment (shared)
- Click on Create / View static inspection
- Enter in circuit nr (YN-10-CL29-LSOS-003) /Equipment no in Functional location ID or
Asset Tech Number
- Select YANPET in the Affiliate.
- Select the plant and processing area (Ex- YN05 (YANPET ETHYLENE PLANTS))
- Click on OK.
- Click on Load inspection
- Click on Load inspection in Inspection history query.
- Click on Inspection (on the screen Left hand side)
- Go to View and printable report.
- Print a copy to click on printer symbol on the tool bar top of the screen.

TO CREATE TML GROUP-

EX- CIRCUIT NR- YN-10-CL9-G-001, SAP NR-310523521(Which is available in Inspection report)

- Click on Go to ( On Meridium home page)


- Select strategy execution
- Select thickness monitoring
- Go to TMLs/Measurements
- Select Pipe /piping circuit /Equipment name in SEARCH IN.
- Enter SAP Nr in LOOK for.
- Click on Find now
- Click on OPEN/Enter.
- Click on TML Group(on screen bottom left hand side)
- Go to Create TML group.
- Enter Piping Line nr (Ex-P-12006A-3-C123) in the description
- Enter OK.
- Then to create corrosion analysis

TO CREATE CORROSIN ANALYSIS

- Click on Analysis summary which is available in Navigation left hand side.


- Select the TML Group
- Go to Analysis setting select UT/RT (if PRT= RT) and then click OK.
- Enter 1825 Days in Default inspection interval.
- Click on Create setting.
- UT updating successfully window will open than click OK.
- Another window will open in which available all TML groups and on the screen left hand
top side click ALL and click Finish(screen bottom right hand side)
- Again UT and all selected dependent settings updated successfully window will open and
then click on OK.
- Now you completed corrosion analysis

TO CREATE TML AND MEASUREMNETS

- Click on TMLs and measurements which is available in Navigation left hand side
- Double Click on TML Group and Click on the TML GRP line which one you enter in to
the meridium (EX-TML GRP-202562238-P12006-3-C123).
- Enter line nr in the description (Ex- P12006-3-C123) of the TML Group identification.
- Enter Piping Location, P & ID, and Inspection Report and any comments details in the
Comments area.
- Click on to create New TML symbol(Which is available in tool bar on the screen center
towards left hand side)
- New TML window open in which
- TML ID: Give proper identification (Ex-P-12006-3-PIPE, P-12006-3-ELBOW)
- TML Analysis type- UT/RT.
- Design code- Select code of construction (Ex-Process Piping- B31.3) and then click
on OK
- Enter Number of readings
- Click on Save and Analyze in TM Tasks(Which is available on the screen left hand top
side) and then enter minimum thickness of the pipe line
- Click on Save and Analyze in TM Tasks
- Enter minimum thickness

TO ENTER MINIMUM THICKNESS

- Select the TML ID- Click on the TML GRP line (Ex-P-12006-3-PIPE).
- Click on TML data sheet symbol(Which is available in tool bar on the screen just beside of
printer symbol)
- Go to TML data sheet and enter the value (Ex-P-12006-3-PIPE- for 3’’-2.0mm as per API
570-Table.6 minimum structural thickness) and click OK.
- Click on Save and Analyze in TM Tasks.
- Enter initial measurement data entry

TO ENTER INITIAL MEASUREMENT DATA ENTRY

- Click on Initial measurements which is available in Navigation left hand side


- Double Click on TML Group and Click on the TML GRP line which one you enter in to the
meridium (EX-TML GRP-202562238-P12006-3-C123)
- Enter Proper date in measurement taken date area( Ex-P-12006-3-C123,06/06/1984 as
per inspection report) and enter 30 Deg C in Temperature block
- Enter Highest reading in the Reading block ( Nominal thickness of the pipe (or) the
Average reading of last inspection i.e actual reading whichever is highest, Ex- P-12006-3-
PIPE -6.8mm initial thickness)
- Click on Save and Analyze in TM Tasks.
- Enter measurement data entry
TO ENTER MEASUREMENT DATA ENTRY

- Click on measurement data entry which is available in Navigation left hand side
- Double Click on TML Group and Click on the TML GRP line which one you enter in to the
meridium (EX-TML GRP-202562238-P12006-3-C123)
- Enter Proper date in measurement taken date area( Enter last inspection UT
measurement date Ex-P-12006-3-C123,30/08/2013 as per inspection UT report) and enter
30 Deg C in Temperature block
- Enter Average reading of last inspection in the Reading.(it should be less or equal to the
Initial measurement i.e Ex- P-12006-3-PIPE-5.85 Average thickness is actual thickness)
- Click on Save and Analyze in TM Tasks.

FINALLY TO REVIW INSPETION HISTORY

- Click on TMLs and measurements which is available in Navigation left hand side.
- Double Click on TML Group and Click on the TML GRP line which one you enter in to
the meridium (EX-TML GRP-202562238-P12006-3-C123)
- Select the TML ID-(Ex-P-12006-3-PIPE).
- Check the screen top side scheduled next inspection, Projected T- min date ,Remaining
life, corrosion rate, last measurement value & date ,base measurement thk
(Initial thk),Base measurement date and etc..
- Check the screen bottom side it will show Reading pass/fail according to the initial and
actual thickness,dates, Temperature, Uncorrected measurement and etc…
