Initial Situation

Domain: Product data

Download of the Product premises (PPM) is inflexibly and a manual process (Excel download via an
intranet link).

Domain: Vehicle and fitment data

Data is provided by several external data providers or internal departments in different formats
(automated upload via FTP).

Data quality of relevant RE(Replacement) fitments and OE(Original) approvals is not sufficient to
meet current and future customer requirements.

Program Goal

At the end of the program …

We have established a service-oriented infrastructure basis with the SST(Single Source of Truth)
service for Products, Vehicles and Fitments as well as a user interface to self-service data.

We improve internal handling of OE-related information by re-assessing process and tool landscape.

We implement relevant processes and systems to ensure continuous quality with respect to
maintenance and update of the data as part of the integrated system landscape.

would like to see options using

1. Cloudera as Platform
2. Cloud (AWS or AZURE) and using Cloud services

Architecture concept: Technical Architecture (intended architecture diagram with data flow and
Cloudera/Cloud components used for ETL, data modelling approach and output interface for end
user). Ensure efficient architecture/concept for possible reporting use cases.

Authorization concept for access and visibility levels
