This month, Yanmar is thrilled to introduce Cornerstone SBX Mobile, a
significant upgrade to our Academy Learning Management System
(LMS). The new mobile integration ensures that the LMS is accessible at
any time, from any location. This mobility promotes a flexible learning
environment where employees and managers can conveniently learn,
collaborate, and provide guidance, thereby boosting productivity and
engagement levels. Furthermore, immediate access to crucial
information, expert advice, and approvals often proves instrumental in
achieving success.
Here is a glimpse at some of the features Cornerstone SBX Mobile users can expect:
• Explore the learning catalog and enroll in self-paced, instructor-led, virtual, or hybrid learning
programs
• Launch online content or download it for offline use
• Complete assessments, checklists, exams, and surveys

Find the Apple App Store or Google Play Store on your mobile device. SBX (formerly
Saba) can be downloaded for free on both Apple and Android devices.
Please note that Saba was rebranded as Cornerstone SBX in mid-2022.

Utilize the search function to locate the Cornerstone SBX app.

After the Cornerstone SBX app appears in your search results, tap on 'GET' to initiate
the download. Depending on the security settings of your device, you might need to
follow additional steps.
The download and installation process will start momentarily. Please note that the
total time taken for installation can differ based on your internet connection speed.

Upon completion of the download, an 'OPEN' button will appear. Press this button to
launch the Cornerstone SBX application.

As the Cornerstone SBX app initiates, your first task will be to enable notifications
from the SBX system. The SBX mobile app employs push notifications, which are
triggered based on certain actions and delivered to the relevant audience.
A push notification is a message that appears on a user's mobile device, sent directly
from the SBX server. These notifications can be sent at any time, irrespective of
whether the user is active on the app or using their device. This feature is facilitated
by Firebase Cloud Messaging and can be triggered under various circumstances.

Your user credentials for the Cornerstone SBX app are transferred from the SBX
(previously Saba) system using a QR code displayed in your user account. This QR
code ensures that your account is correctly linked with the appropriate Domain and
Microsite.

On your laptop or PC, log in and navigate to the opening page of your Yanmar SBX
system.

Click on the photo icon located on the right side of the screen, above the 'Learning
Catalog' button. From the ensuing drop-down menu, select 'Downloads'.

The first option listed is "CORNERSTONE SBX MOBILE APPLICATION FOR IOS AND
ANDROID SMARTPHONES AND TABLETS". Select this and then click on 'Generate QR
Code'. This action will create a QR Code embedded with your user credentials.

Position your Apple or Android device in front of the computer screen to scan the QR
Code and thereby load your credentials.
