‫)‪(Surah Ali-‘Imran [3]: 85‬‬

‫‪Alhamdulillah, all blessings belong to Allah alone. He is the Most‬‬

‫‪Gracious, Most Merciful, and the Owner of Justice. Shalawat and‬‬
‫‪salaam may always be poured out to our prophet, Rasulullah‬‬
‫‪shallallahu 'alaihi wa sallam.‬‬
There is no most important message of advice, apart from the
message of piety. Obey Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala. Carry out His
commandments. Stay away from His ban. Don't let Him get angry
with all of us because we broke His rules.

Attendees of the Friday Congregation, Rahikumullah,

Who doesn't want to live in peace, harmony and tranquility in the
midst of society? Everyone definitely wants that. Therefore, all
potential that could damage peace, harmony and tolerance
between religious communities must be avoided.

But remember, this is not because of a moderate religious

attitude, what is currently being campaigned for is religious
moderation. No. Why? You know, the term 'moderate Islam',
religious moderation, is a term that tends to be ambiguous,
unclear, wild and has the potential to harm Islam and its teachings.
Moreover, the issue of religious moderation is always linked to the
issue of radicalism which is also constantly being discussed.
However, it is clear that, like religious moderation, the issue of
radicalism is also unclear.

Like the issue of terrorism, the issue of radicalism always targets

Muslims. There has never been radicalism targeting Catholics,
Protestants, Hindus, Buddhists or Confucians. There isn't any.
Hence, this issue is very tendentious. Targeting Muslims,
especially those who are trying to be bound by their Sharia, even
those who want the application of Islamic Sharia entirely (kaaffah)
in all aspects of life.

Attendees of the Friday Congregation, Rahikumullah,

At first glance, the term religious moderation seems good. Even
though it is poison for Muslims. We need to know this, so that we
don't get caught up in becoming perpetrators of religious
moderation campaigns. Moreover, it has just been announced that
1000 religious moderation villages are being launched.

Please note, moderate is a political term. Deliberately used by the

enemies of Islam to lead Muslims to have a religious understanding
(Islam) according to the wishes of the West. Muslims are led to
tolerate Western values, whether it's human rights, freedom of
behavior, even LGBT. We are directed to accept disobedience. We
must not reject anything from Western culture. Must accept. Then,
anyone who does not want to accept, is called radical.

Attendees of the Friday Congregation, Rahikumullah,

You know, since the explosion of the WTC Building on September
11 2001, America has used the issue of terrorism as part of its global
scenario to weaken Islam and Muslims. To that end, the
researchers then suggested several choices of steps for AS. One of
them is promoting the network of "moderate Islam" to counter
the ideas of "radical Islam".

In this regard, former US President George W Bush once called

Islamic ideology "the ideology of extremists". Even by the former
British Prime Minister Tony Blair, Islamic ideology was dubbed the
"ideology of Satan". He stated this in his speech at the British
Labor Party National Policy Conference (2005). Blair then
explained the characteristics of "satanic ideology", namely: (1)
Rejecting Israel's legitimacy; (2) Having the thought that sharia is
the basis of Islamic law; (3) Muslims must become a unit under the
auspices of the Khalifah; (4) Not adopting liberal values from the
West.
So those who include these characteristics are called radical
groups. And the opposite attitude is called the moderate group.
Then, they play Muslims against each other, so that they are
complacent, weak, and scattered.

Attendees of the Friday Congregation, Rahikumullah,

Be careful with this moderate Islamic propaganda. As if Muslims
are intolerant people. They try to teach us how to tolerate. In fact,
historically, even without religious moderation, Islam is indeed a
religion that upholds tolerance. Even tolerance - without religious
moderation - is one part of the history of the greatness and glory
of the Islamic Caliphate which has covered the world for 13
centuries.

Let us not be humble because we do not want to follow their

propaganda. Be assured, Islam is a religion (ad-dein) revealed by
Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala to the Prophet Muhammad sallallaahu
'alaihi wa sallam to regulate human relationships with God,
themselves and each other. Thus, Islam not only regulates issues
of faith, worship and morals, but also regulates economic,
governmental, social, educational, judicial and legal sanctions and
foreign policy issues.

This is what is meant by Islamic kaaffah, as stated by Allah

subhanahu wa ta'ala:

O believers! Enter into Islam wholeheartedly and do not follow
Satan’s footsteps. Surely he is your sworn enemy (Surah al-Baqarah
[2]: 208).
Therefore Islam is a complete and perfect religion. Islam does not
need other religions or teachings. This was confirmed by Allah
subhanahu wa ta'ala:

Today I have perfected your faith for you, completed My favour upon
you, and chosen Islam as your way (Surah al-Maidah [5]: 3).

As a result, we must reject and fight the idea of religious

moderation in all its forms. Although it could be that currently it is
being campaigned by those who call themselves ulama or
intellectuals. Once again, religious moderation is not an Islamic
teaching. It even endangers Islam. We are encouraged to be
tolerant of disobedience. Encouraged to justify religions other
than Islam. Encouraged to leave the teachings of Islam with the
term do not be fanatical. Be careful, all of these are dangerous
poisons.

Now is the time, we are more obedient to Islamic teachings. The

white says white, the black says black. Don't be gray, because that
is what the enemies of Islam expect.
‫‪Remember, Islamic sharia is the standard of conduct for a Muslim,‬‬
‫‪not tolerance and moderation. Faith must be manifested in the‬‬
‫‪form of obedience, compliance and complete acceptance of‬‬
‫][ ‪Islamic sharia.‬‬
