COMMUNICATIVE ● To reflect and narrate anecdotes about moments that require encouragement.
OBJECTIVE
TIMELINE / SESSION ● Warm up: Personal Object Symbolism: Students will be required to bring a small object
MANAGEMENT that represents something meaningful or motivational to them. Participants can take
turns showing their objects and explaining the significance behind them. Teacher
encourages students to actively listening.
● Vocabulary activity: Word Association: Start with a motivational word related to the
theme, and have participants take turns saying other words that come to mind.
● Activity 1. Individual reading and group work. The students will engage in reading four
stories about self-motivation. Then, in pair they will participate in discussion based on
the subject matter. Finally, they will report back their comments to the entire class.
● Activity 2. Written activity. Students will devote time to write a personal anecdote
related to the subject matter.
COMMUNICATIVE ● ORAL SKILLS: Students will integrate their oral skills through group discussions and
SKILLS INTEGRATION debates on the subject matter.

● WRITTEN SKILLS: Students will use the background the get during the discussion to
integrate it in a written story.
