(BLOG SPOT)

By: Gian Carlo G. Mangulabnan

Batanguenos, or people from the Philippines' province of Batangas, are

recognized for their strong Catholic faith. Because of their deep devotion and
religious practices, they have many pilgrim sites in the area.Batanguenos'
dedication to the Catholic faith is strongly embedded in their culture and
history. They have an intense sense of community and solidarity, and their faith
provides strength and consolation in difficult times. This is why the province
has so many pilgrim sites; people believe that visiting these sites and
worshipping there will bring them closer to God and provide them with serenity
and solace.
LIPA MONASTERY
(The Apparition site of Our Lady Mary Mediatrix of all Grace)
It is the place where Mama Mary (Our Lady Mediatrix of all Grace) appeared to Sister
Teresing Castillo in year 1948. This place is a good place where you can pray and
reflect, there are times that some devotees and pilgrims experience a miraculous
phenomenon they smell a sweet fragrance of roses even though there are no roses in
that place, and I am one of those people who experience that phenomenon, when I am
praying in front of the original image of Mary Mediatrix I suddenly smell a sweet
fragrance of rose, and for me that is a sign of Mama Mary’s presence. Many devotee
shares their miraculous experiences in Lipa, many of them experience healing and their
prayers are granted through the powerful intercession of Mary Mediatrix. This
monastery is a very peaceful and solemn place. The Lipa Carmel Monastery in
Batangas, Philippines, is a very extraordinary destination that provides tourists with a
one-of-a-kind and engaging spiritual experience. A community of contemplative nuns
who have dedicated their lives to prayer, meditation, and service to God live in the
monastery. The opportunity to attend Mass with the sisters is one of the highlights of
the Lipa Carmel Monastery. The Masses are solemn and contemplative, with beautiful
music and hymns that create feelings of great reverence and devotion. Visitors can
also join in on the monastery's daily prayers and meditations, which provide an
opportunity to ponder and connect with God in a serene and contemplative setting.
NATIONAL SHRINE OF ST. PADRE PIO
The shrine is dedicated to Saint Padre Pio, a revered Italian saint recognized for
his devotion to God and his gift or charism of healing. As a devotee of Padre Pio,
I really love to go to this shrine because this place is dedicated to him.And in
this place you will see his 1st and 2nd class relics you can venerate and pray in
front of it. If you are sick and asking for God's healing through the intercession
of Padre Pio.I recommend that when you visit the Shrine, you stay after the
mass for the Healing Liturgy and express your trust that God will truly heal you.
Many pilgrims experience healing through the intercession of Padre Pio many of
them go back to the shrine to give thanks to Padre Pio because their prayers is
answered. I recommend going to the St. Padre Pio National Shrine in Batangas
with an open heart and mind, as well as faith in God, and allowing the Holy
Spirit to work in you.Visitors can tour the shrine's different chapels and prayer
rooms, each with their own atmosphere and its purpose.
MONTE MARIA SHRINE
The shrine is dedicated to the Blessed Virgin Mary and is positioned atop
a hill with excellent views of the surrounding area.
Montemaria Shrine, also known as the Montemaria International
Pilgrimage and Conference Center, faces Batangas Bay.The most notable
feature is the huge Statue of Mary, Mother of All Asia, which is
considered to be the world's tallest statue of the Virgin Mary. This shrine
is a good spot to go if you want to contemplate in peace. And because
the church is at the top of the mountain, you can pray the rosary or the
Way of the Cross on the way up to the shrine. It's a place where you can
talk to God in silence. This chapel will help us
to strengthen our relationship with God.With its towering white cross and
spectacular dome, this architectural masterpiece is both beautiful and
modern. The shrine is also a popular pilgrimage and retreat place, with
pilgrims traveling from all across the Philippines and beyond to seek
