LEARNING IS OUR COMMITMENT AMIDST PANDEMIC


CNHS invleolves parents and stakeholders in BE-LCP implementation

To equipped parents and guardians in the implementation of BE-LCP, Cabay NHS conducted an orientation
program on the opening of class last September 13, 2021 at Cabay Nhs covered court.
In lieu with the result of the online enrolment survey it was concluded to adopt Modular Distance Learning +ETV
which encourages every learner to use PIVOT, CO and even localized modules in print with some supplemental
materials such as videos.
Sir Ariel C. Del Mundo, Principal I, assures that learning
is our commitment amidst pandemic, he reiterated
that various projects launched by the school last
school year must continue to fulfill the learning needs
of the students.
As part of the Brigada Eskwela, Brigada Pagbasa and
home learning space were given attention by the
teachers. “Project Read Trip: Cabayan Drive to Read
and Project WOW “Workshop on Wheels were also
part of the continuation successful learning in the
better normal.

On the Other hand, learning assistance will be the main
concern of every teacher may it be online or even off line, as
part of it Project OK “Online Kumustahan”will be conducted
by the teacher to provide assistance and explain the lesson
well among their students.

PrOJECT I- CARE (INTEGRATING COMPREHENSION ACTIVIES


FOR READING ENHANCEMENT

In the implementation of “Brigada Eskwela 2021” DepEd


assures that schools were ready for the opening of classe. In
lieu with this, they make sure that students were holistically
ready such as physically, mentally and emotionally as to
ensure that they can really comprehend their lessons in various
learning.
The school conducted some initiated activities stated in the
BE-LCP as to implement some remediation and enhancement
activiites in reading.
We believe that will be an instrument to mainstream the
Division Mantra “Bawat Bata Bumabasa”. This has been the
advocacy of every teacher in the school to continue learning in
the better normal which aims to accomplished 100% of reading

As part of the “Brigada Pagbasa” , the school launched under the


Project ICARE “Integrating Comprehension Activities for
Reading Enhancement” Project Read Trip: Cabayan Drive To
Read”
The project has three phase, pre implementation, implementation
and post assessment.
It initially established the profiling of students to their
corresponding level, this will lead to approparite remediation
applicable for each weakness and deficiency of every raeder in
reading and comprehension.
Consequently, in the implementation process, some strategies will
be employed by the team such as the used of contextualized
reading material, peer tutoring if possible face o face, online peer
tutoring with some supplemental materials for stduents needing
enhancement.
With the help of the some partners to provide some gift packs to
fully motivate learners and parents, the intensify support of LGUs
and private institutions, the school can able to accomplished the
program.

READ TRIP: CABAYAN DRIVE TO READ

In the implemenmation of “Brigada Pagbasa”, Project Read Trip: Cabayan Drive to read conducted its intial step on the profiling of
student’s reading level with the use of some contextualized and localized reading materials. In order to boost the interest of each learner,
there are some gift packs given to their families to encourage them to read and learn their lessons.

The selection included the needs


analysis to firmly assess the reading program
and action plan to be used to various students
under the frustration level. English teachers
were asked to give the name of those
students who need remediation program
focusing on some coaching strategies as part
of their strategic reading.

comprehension skills, they were monitored
regularly every end of the week. They
presented their outputs made for the whole WALKTHROUGH ON THE REMEDIATION
week, it was checked and asses by the
teacher objectively until they reached the COACHING STRATEGIES
independent level.

Conclusion

1. The coaching strategy motivates students learning to comprehend and analyze texts using some
coaching strategies presented. It also strengthened their skills on vocabulary analysis and usage.

2. There is a significant result of using Project Read Trip: Cabayan Drive to Read which motivates
learners to read and learn as they are given packs composing of 3 kilos of rices, sardines and
noodles for their families.

3. The sponsorhip of school head vehicle lead for the Reading team to visit various sitios to assess
reading, profile reading level and provide intervention for those who needs assistance.

4. The preparation and planning of any intervention program can also be claim on the use of needs
analysis as it conspire the needs of the students on a certain focus.
