*Drop off Art Classes for 6-10 year olds: 12:30-1:30 - $20
Art classes teach children critical thinking skills, cultural awareness, problems
have more than one solution, right brain development, art and its history, and
brings meaning and beauty to their daily lives.
*Please Note: Only 20 people per class. We apologize if we have to turn you away.
Reservations are suggested. Please don’t make us sad.

Family Fun Workshops: 11am – 12 noon
One adult and one child - $20. Additional family members: $5 each. Material fee included. Each class is
designed for an adult and a child up to almost 6 years old, but older children can join the family, as well.
This is a fun, creative, relaxing time to do art together as a family. We will gather around a big table and
work on a variety of art techniques: draw, paint, color, collage, sculpt and print! Projects are to be taken
home that day. Bring your enthusiasm, creativity, and a bag to hold any “wet” work.
Drop off Art Classes for 6-10 year olds: 12:30 – 1:30pm
Children 6-10 will paint, sculpt, work with a variety of art materials, improve all their art making skills, learn
about famous artists, and mostly have fun in this one hour fun filled art class. Independent children, only,
please. $20 per child, including material fee Come celebrate the month with art making!
About Teaching Artist Michelle Goguen: Michelle has been teaching in private and public schools as
an art teacher for the past 14 years. She has her BA in Children in the Creative Arts and her Master’s in
Art Education. She is a Professional Licensed NY State Visual Arts teacher and has a deep passion
working with and bringing out creativity at the highest level for children of all ages. She works with Light
and Reflection in her own art work and has shown her work many times at the Plaxall Gallery and various

Reservations: You can call Michelle to make a reservation. Or you can fill in sheet below and send to
Michelle Goguen, 3606 9th Street, 2nd Floor, Astoria, NY 11106 with the total amount of the class. You do
not have to make reservations, however only 20 people in each class. You can also call Michelle on

*Plaxall Gallery is located behind the LIC Flea Market in Long Island City on 46 th Avenue.
Try the door on 46th Avenue first (you will see our name). If locked, walk to the LIC Flea
parking lot and enter up the ramp. We are next door to the gym.
