The learners will be able…

to know
describe the historical development of theories that explain the origin of the
Universe;

to feel
show importance to the concept of the theories of the origin of the Universe

to do
compare different hypotheses and theories that explain the origin of the Universe;

to communicate
share ideas about the origin of the Universe.

Big Bang Theory Oscillating Universe Steady State Theory

According to NASA, the universe is
everything. It includes all of space,
and all the matter and energy that
space contains. It even includes time
itself and, of course, it includes you.

The Oscillating Universe Theory or
Pulsating Theory briefly
considered by Albert Einstein in
1930 theorized a universe
following an eternal series of
oscillations, each beginning with a
Big Bang and ending with a Big
Crunch as part of a cyclical event.
It states that the Universe will bounce back to an expanding one. An
expansion (Big Bang) following a collapse (Big Crunch) such as this is
aptly called a Big Bounce. The bounce marks the end of the previous
universe and the beginning of the next.
If this theory is supposedly true, is there any possibilities
that our universe will destroy at any moment?
If the oscillating theory of the universe were to be correct, is
it possible we're living the exact same lives over and over?
Proposed by astronomers, Fred Hoyle, Thomas Gold, and Hermann
Bondi, the steady state theory predicted a universe that expanded
but did not change its density—matter was inserted into the
universe as it expanded to maintain a constant density.
As the universe expands, matter being continuously created to
form new stars and galaxies at the same rate that old ones
become unobservable as a consequence of their increasing
distance and velocity of recession.
I HEAR MY TEACHER SAY,

OR FOREVER HOLD YOUR PEACE...

There are many Earth-like
planets that are suspected to be
habitable. If a planet is proven
to be feasible for sustaining life,
will you transfer to this planet
and leave Earth behind? Why?
In the name of the
Father, and of the Son,
and of the Holy Spirit.

AMEN.
Glory be to the Father, and to
the Son, and to the Holy
Spirit.

As it was in the beginning, is

now, and ever shall be, world
without end.
AMEN.
