Acidic Dyes
- Acidophilic
- Ex. Eosin, Orange G, And Acid Fuchsin
- Mitochondria, Secretory Granules, And Collagen
- Collagen Fiber appear pink
- Tendon and ligament appear pink because they are
rich in collagen fiber
Lipid-Soluble Dyes
- such as Sudan Black
- can be useful in diagnosis of metabolic diseases that
involve intracellular accumulations of cholesterol,
phospholipids, or glycolipids.
