Open Architecture Framework

Description:
A platform to build enterprise class applications. The OA platform is built using J2EE
architecture and standards. It is a component-based architecture that allows a company to maximize
its relationships with its customers.
The OA platform is a completely J2EE-compliant solution. It makes primary use of the Web
and EJB containers in the standard J2EE framework. It is entirely a thin-client solution, making no
use of the J2EE application client or applet containers.
The user interface framework is managed in the web container and is constructed of angular
templates with metadata. Extended standard UI functionality with a set of custom components that for
the core functionality of the user interface.

Warehouse Management:

The Supply Chain Execution solution automates and streamlines every facet of warehousing and
distribution operations, including:
Appointment and dock door scheduling, Receiving, Storage (putaway), Cross-docking, Order
processing, Carrier rating, routing, optimization, and wave planning, Picking, Shipping, Inventory
control.
You can also configure Supply Chain Execution to support advanced functions such as RF
and voice support, system directed forward pick replenishment, multiple date code tracking, serial
number tracking and advanced kitting.

Customers are requested for customizations in the cloud environment. We cannot have customer
specific flows in the cloud environment. But any product cannot fulfill the customer business
requirements with base product flow. So in order to have the customer specific requirement we need
to provide the no code features in the cloud world. So we designed the extensibility feature to achieve
this goal. We can do diff things.
1) We can get the data from the database (lookup)
2) Perform diff type operations (String, Number and Date operations)
3) Assign new values
4) Validate the values and display error messages
5) Perform aggregate operations on the collection of values

Project: Form Designer Rules

Duration: 2017 Jan to 2018 Dec

Customers are requested to have the dynamic behavior in the custom forms according to their data
needs. We provided readonly, required, hide and tooltip features based on the user input. Customer
can create these validations on the fly and can configure without tech knowledge. This is our first no
code customization in our product.

Project: Form Designer

Customers are requested to have the custom forms according to their data needs. In the detail pages
we have many form fields. But some customers may not use the certain fields. They want to hide
these un used fields. Some want to move the fields, so that they can have the diff layout. They want to
provide extra information as tooltip to certain fields. In this enhancements we provide all the features
and well received by the customers. It is a huge success.

Project: Migration to the new UX designs

Company initiated the common UI/UX across all the products. So we need to change the application
according to the new standards.
Project: Custom Saved Views
Duration: 2013 Mar to 2014 Mar

Customers are requested to have the shortcuts to the screens in the product. They don’t want the static
shortcuts. They wanted the dynamic shortcuts. Means if they search in the list screen, they want to
store the custom search as a separate screen. And a new menu link should be added to the menu.
When the user clicks on the menu, product should display the list view with the search query and the
corresponding results. It is also completed with in the time frame. It received well with the customers.

Project: Custom Grid Enhancement

Duration: 2012 Mar to 2013 Mar

OA Framework have common list view which supports the re ordering the application list coloumns.
No of records to be displayed cannot modify of the customer. Customers are expecting this behavior
from a very long time. I verified the existing functionality and implemented the same with minimal
changes. Now customers can hide/show any available columns in the list grid. Also they can display
any no of records (< 100) without any customizations.

Project: Firefox Support

Duration: 2011 June to 2012 Mar
Technologies: JS, VM, Java
OA Framework only supports the IE browser only. But customers are expecting to use the modern
browsers like Firefox and Chrome. So we need to modify the lot of js files, css files and vm files to
work in the Firefox and Chrome browser. It is a big challenge for us. But we completed in time.
