    Your boat has sunk and you are trapped on a deserted island. You have to build a shelter and find
    food to survive. You explore the island and discover something extremely valuable. What is it?

    Think about:
    • Title

    • Orientation or introduction

    • The types of characters and setting

    • The complication or problem

    • The sequence or series of events

    • Resolution or conclusion – how the story will end

    Remember to:
    • plan your story;

    • write in sentences;

    • focus on your spelling, punctuation, grammar and paragraphs;

    • check your spelling and edit your writing when you have finished.
