1) The village administrative officer testified that on January 27, 2013, he was informed by the police inspector to come to the bus stand regarding an inquiry into the arrest of the accused over a death.
2) The accused voluntarily confessed to the police inspector at the bus stand around 4PM, and the inspector recorded the confession. The accused stated he would show where he threw the weapon and produce it.
3) Based on the confession, the officer, his assistant, accused, and inspector went to a pond where the accused produced a gun, which was seized by police under an exhibit label. They then went to the accused's property where he produced a second gun, which was also seized.

On the basis of his confession, Pw6 and his assistant, the accused, and Inspector of police proceeded to Sellempatti Pond at about 5 .30 PM. Accused produced the gun in consequence of his confession, the police recovered the same under the Mahazer, PW6 and his assistant witnessed the same. Seized Mahazer is marked as EXP6 from there, the accused, Pw6, and his assistant, and Inspector proceeded to Cow-House of the accused. It is situated in eastern side of the house of the accused, where the accused produced the gun which is broken but pasted and was recovered under Mahazer EXP7 and the same was marked as Mo6.
