EDU 534 | Technology for Teaching and Learning 1

Task Title: Detailed Lesson Plan with Technology Integration and Video Tutorial
Task Goal: This task allows students to craft a detailed lesson plan with technology integration
emphasizing the Cone of Experience and TPACK Framework.

Task Guidelines:

PART 1: DETAILED LESSON PLAN

1. For BEED Students

✓ This performance task is in collaboration with EDU 054, EDU 570, and EDU 572.
✓ In line with the EDU 534 subject, the technology integration on the lesson plan and how
the concepts of the Cone of Experience and the TPACK framework are applied must be
present. For the EDU 054 subject, assessment OF, FOR, and AS learning should be seen in
the lesson plan. Lastly, the content and pedagogy will be the main focus of EDU 570 and
EDU 572 subjects.
✓ The ICT tool/s that will be applied should be modern, appropriate for 21st-century
learners, and promotes active learning. The content or topic should be extracted from the
DEPED curriculum guide in grades 1-6.
✓ The following format should be followed:
o Paper size: 8.5 in x 13 in (Legal size)
o Font style: Arial
o Spacing: Single Spacing
o Paper Orientation: Portrait
✓ The PRINTED detailed lesson plan should be submitted on July 27, 2023, by 5 PM. This
should be submitted with the printed copy of the rubrics for the lesson plan and the
video tutorial.

2. For BSED-ENGLISH Students

✓ This performance task is in collaboration with EDU 054, ENG 154, and ENG 153 subjects.
✓ In line with the EDU 534 subject, the technology integration on the lesson plan and how
the concepts of the Cone of Experience and the TPACK framework are applied must be
present. For the EDU 054 subject, assessment OF, FOR, and AS learning should be seen in
the lesson plan. Lastly, the content and macros skills will be the focus of ENG 153 and ENG
154 subjects.
✓ For BSED-EN students, this task will be done in pairs since the ENG 154 and ENG 153
teachers preferred it.
 ✓ The ICT tool/s that will be applied should be modern, appropriate for 21st-century
learners, and promotes active learning.
✓ The following format should be followed:
o Paper size: 8.5 in x 13 in (Legal size)
o Font style: Arial
o Spacing: Single Spacing
o Paper Orientation: Portrait

3. For BSED-SCIENCE and BSED-MATH Students

✓ This performance task is in collaboration with EDU 054.
✓ In line with the EDU 534 subject, the technology integration on the lesson plan and how
the concepts of the Cone of Experience and the TPACK framework are applied must be
present. For the EDU 054 subject, assessment OF, FOR, and AS learning should be seen in
the lesson plan.
✓ The ICT tool/s that will be applied should be modern, appropriate for 21st-century
learners, and promotes active learning. The content or topic should be extracted from the
DEPED curriculum guide in grades 7-10
✓ The following format should be followed:
o Paper size: 8.5 in x 13 in (Legal size)
o Font style: Arial
o Spacing: Single Spacing
o Paper Orientation: Portrait
✓ The PRINTED detailed lesson plan should be submitted on July 27, 2023, by 5 PM. This
should be submitted with the printed copy of the rubrics for the lesson plan and the
video tutorial.

PART 2: VIDEO TUTORIAL

✓ Create a 1 to 3-minute video tutorial on utilizing the chosen application in your lesson plan.
✓ For BSED-English students, this will be done in pairs as well. However, BSED-Science, BSED-
Math, and BEED students will do this individually.
✓ Sound must be audible, and visuals should be related to the topic.
✓ Refrain from using foul words that harm netizens and the school.
✓ Your video will be assessed according to its reliability in the lesson plan outlined and its quality
based on its content and creativity.
✓ The video tutorial should be submitted in GCR on July 27, 2023, until 5 PM.
