ACTIVITIES/PROGRAMMES
SUNDAY SERVICE
Attendance to Sunday Church services has been encouraging, except days that there are
communal labor and funerals at the Bogrekrom township, where low attendance were
recorded. Lay preachers from different societies in the circuit and within our own society
have been sharing with us the word of God and we would like to use this opportunity to
acknowledge them all for their efforts in doing God’s work.
Teaching service has been going on well as usual, and members take opportunity to get
more insight from the word that is shared on these days.
• Bible class meeting; Class meetings were held every Tuesday, when there’s no society
or circuit programme. We have four (4) groups for our Bible class meetings, ranging
from Class 1 to Class 4.
The challenge with our bible class meetings is lateness and low attendance.
Revival: Revivals were held in the period under review, to allow the power of the Holy
spirit to transform us.
• MPRP
a. The society held prayer meetings every Friday evening from 7:00pm – 8: 30pm
Attendance has not been encouraging but plans are under way to improve the
attendance.
b. The Church also has another prayer meeting on Tuesday evening after Bible class,
led by the prayer warriors and the evangelism team.
Evangelism tracts were also given to members as they go out there and win souls for
Christ. The training and teaching session was led by Evangelist Albert Fynn and bro.
Nathaniel K. Eshun .
A total of twenty five (25) souls or persons were reached, out of which thirteen persons
decided to worship with us. These persons are constantly being monitored and contacted
to join us in worshipping God.
Refreshments were served to members who embarked in this exercise, and was
sponsored by a member of the Church.
The society successfully held a Mothers Day Celebration, on the 14th of May, 2023 for all
mothers in the church. Members and church leaders came in their numbers to support the
program. The theme for the programme was ‘Be a good mother’.
A talk on the theme was given by Bro. Nathaniel K. Eshun, Sis. Monica Amegbe, Auntie
Kesewaa and Sis. Dorcas Aggrey. They admonished mothers to love and cater for their
children. Children were also advised to love, care, be obedient, respect and run errands for
their mothers.
Members were allowed to thank and bless mothers for their care, love and the struggles they
have gone through because of them.
Gifts in the form of parcels and envelopes were presented to mothers by their wards.
There was a refreshment for mothers and everyone who attended the programmed.
Naming Ceremony: There were naming ceremonies for some brethren in the society.
Tithe Payment:
Payment of tithe has been encouraging, though not as expected. Members have therefore
been admonished on the need to pay their Tithes and receive God’s blessings. Tithe cards
have also been made available to members without a tithe card, at no cost.
ORGANIZATIONAL ACTIVITIES
All the various organizations in the society continued to meet at their usual meeting day’s and
time.
SOCIAL SERVICES:
The society supported members who were sick by assisting them with some token and
also paying their medical bills
PROJECTS
PROJECTION
• The process of acquiring a plot of land in front of our chapel is still ongoing.
CONCLUSION
We are very much grateful to God for His mercies and guidance for the lives of our
members.
